Kendal Mountain Festival 2020
The Kendal Mountain Festival celebrates its 40th year.
40 years? I’ve never even heard of it I hear you say. It’s true, Kendal Mountain Festival is something of an unknown gem, at least outside of the trad outdoors world. KMF though has a devoted following and is highly valued by those who turn out in Kendal year on year. In fact, it marks a high point in the calendar of the Cumbrian market town in the heart of the Lake District.
Bringing together films, speakers, books and exhibitions from all over the world, covering everything outdoors. It’s the most significant festival of its type in Europe with over 100 film screenings and more than 100 guest speakers each year.
In this most inauspicious of years, Kendal isn’t its usual self, in that it’s taking place entirely online, but the selection and quality of films and speakers remains excellent as ever. The festival will be live and on-demand from Thursday 19th November. In partnership with KMF we’ve selected a few must watches from the extensive film list and Outsiders followers can obtain a 20% discount on everything on the KMF site by using the code OUTSIDERS20.
