Outsiders Store was founded in 2017 in Manchester, England by Robert Brigham, created to be an alternative yet harmonious addition to the family business, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports. Outsiders was designed to offer a more laidback, adaptive and less sport-focused alternative, in an ever-changing outdoor space. The name Outsiders was chosen for being something of a homonym, the brand direction being left-field and off the beaten path.
