As we do each year, we’re getting all of our staff together for a group hike. Following a successful spring and summer, and ahead of what we hope to be a busy autumn and winter, we find it beneficial to take stock collectively and prepare for our busiest time of year. This means we will be closing the stores on Tuesday, September 16th for the day. Online will of course continue to trade as normal.
Next Thursday (28th) we celebrate the Opening of Outsiders Store Manchester. 7-10pm.
Beers from Deya, Cocktails from MOTH, Kombucha from Hip Pop, soda from Picoso and sweet sweet music from Mastersounds. Not to mention 200 Oysters...

For the price of £50 you’ll be given a brand-new white Osprey Talon Velocity 20 pack and be guided through a dyeing process by the artist. You’ll leave at the end of the night with your own totally bespoke hiking pack sure to turn a few heads on the dusty trail.

We’ve got together with Allday Goods to create a limited edition folding knife, inspired by the Japanese ‘higonokami’. Something perfect for the outdoors, whether you’re foraging, camping or gardening.
There will be a small batch available to purchase (in-store only) from 10AM on Saturday 28th September at Outsiders Store in King’s Cross, London. All blades are hand-made in Somerset from British carbon steel, numbered in the order you make your purchase and handles made entirely from plastic waste.

A book preview of Mountain Style, the latest release from Isola press, of Rough Stuff Fellowship Archive fame. Mountain Style is an illustrated history of British outdoor clothing. Alongside our friends at Patagonia Manchester we commemorate 90 years since the momentous Kinder Scout Mass Tresspass of 1932.
With a ramble on the original 10 mile route, a beer brewed by Cloudwater and a free zine featuring words by Nick Hayes, author of the bestselling “The Book of Tresspass”. Explore the significance of this landmark event in history and its relevance to land rights today.
