La Sportiva’s Mutant brings to mind a creature of fearsome strength and ability but with an alienating appearance. It’s fair to say that the Mutant is not for all, and it has something of the cartoon mutant in its DNA. But this freak of the trail world has an ultra grippy sole unit, with a FusionGate™ integrated lacing technology creating an incredibly supportive fit. Uniquely it also employs La Sportiva’s SpyralTongue™ to create a built-in gaiter that keeps mud and stones out.
