The abrasion-resistant all-round rand makes it sturdy and durable, while the STB Control system integrates the midsole with the upper for an enhanced fit and increased stability while traversing. It utilises the distinctive, climbing-derived Mythos lacing system that wraps around the uppers for precise regulation of volume and intricate fit adjustments. Underfoot, the Vibram Megagrip compound and pronounced heel combine with the hiking-specific lugs that are orientated to enable downhill braking and uphill grip.
