Octa is a relatively new fleece fabric we've been seeing more and more. There's a fair bit of tech going on with this stuff, but at a basic level, it's a super-fluffy fabric made up of little cog-shaped pieces that lock together and keep hot air in. It's then bonded to a lightweight mesh for durability. Anyway, and wander have used Octa to make the Octa Fluffy Skirt-creating a billowing technical skirt that keeps the weight right down while still providing plenty of warmth in the winter months.
Throw in a lightweight nylon shell, two massive wraparound pockets and a full-length two-way zip for temperature regulation and you've got a standout skirt that perfectly balances form and function.
