Harkening back to the mid-20th century heyday of rugged shirting, the Nova Canvas Shirt from Big Rock Candy Mountaineering prioritises toughness and longevity. The former is provided by the extremely sturdy heavyweight cotton canvas fabric, which has been stone-washed to kickstart the breaking-in process and feel like a familiar favourite upon first wear, while the latter is cemented by a full double-needle felled seam construction that stands up to repeated use. It has also been garment-dyed, meaning it'll age gracefully and idiosyncratically. Finished with all the usual bells-and-whistles - two chest pockets, curved hem, custom horn buttons - and cut in a relaxed silhouette to promote layering.
