The El Cap Suede Boots are Big Rock Candy Mountaineering's take on the hallowed French Varappe boot, adored by the Stonemasters of Yosemite national park in the 70s and a foundational style in the development of hiking shoes as we know them today. Made in Portugal to exacting standards from some decidedly-premium feeling suede leather uppers, the boots boast plush leather linings and insoles that are already comfortable on first wear and promise to only get better once they're fully broken in. Paying homage to the style's rugged forebearers, the El Caps also feature rubberised leather mudguards, heels and toecap for increased protection and durability. Three sets of laces allow for modular styling and custom dustbags come included.
