Sitting nicely in the 'Goldilocks zone' between a trail runner and a hiking shoe, Danner's Trail 2650 is a hard-wearing all-terrain shoe which really comes into its own during long-distance treks. Lighter and more nimble than more trad hiking shoes, but with a fair bit more protection that your usual trail runners, it's got a particularly sure-footed, stable feel, with that chunky Vibram® 460 Megagrip outsole offering plenty of grip over rocks and roots.

They're maybe not 'race-day' runners, but for long days in the mountains where comfort, protection and durability matters more than shaving off a few grams, then they're ideal.
