The second issue of New York's Field Mag has made its way off the printing press. Sitting somewhere between A5 and A4 on the size chart, with 218 pages which mix long in-depth articles with shorter snippets, it's the kind of magazine you can dip in and out of endlessly and still find something new to read long after you've left the newsagents.

There's too much in here to list off here, but standout articles include a thoughtful piece on old Patagonia fleeces (and why logos loom large in the teenage brain), a wander through the aisles of a discount canned food shop, Brian Kelley's photos of massive trees, a month-long trip through Kyrgyzstan and a look at Nepal's counterfeit gear industry.
