Gorilla 50 Ultralight Backpack - Grey

Built for thru-hiking, the Gorilla 50 is one of Gossamer Gear's signature designs. Honed and refined over years of use out on the trail, it packs in a serious amount of detail while still weighing just 905g. The key ingredient is that lightweight Robic nylon (70D for the body, and 100D for the base), which uses high-tenacity yarns for strength without the weight. Combine that with Gossamer's removable PVT frame and you've got a seriously stable pack that moves with you over the trail.

What else? Those big side pockets give you plenty of space for bottles, that mesh pocket is the perfect place for stashing an extra layer, and that removable back-bad doubles as a handy seat-pad when you get to the camping spot.

If you're wondering about sizing with this pack, Gossamer go off torso length, which is measured from the C7 vertebra at the base of your neck to the iliac crest in the middle of your hips:

16" - 18"  go for Small

18" - 20" go for Medium

20" - 22" - go for Large

If you're between sizes, Gossamer recommend sizing down for more of a shoulder wrap and higher hipbelt, or sizing up for a lower hipbelt fit.
