Mariposa 60 Backpack - Green

Perhaps Gossamer Gear's most famous design, the Mariposa 60 Backpack is a carefully considered ultralight backpack that cuts the weight but not the details. It's crafted from a hard-wearing fabric called Robic nylon which is renowned for its exceptional strength to weight, with Gossamer's removable PVT frame keeping things stable but never clunky, pivoting with your body for comfort out on the trail.

With 60L of space, it's a bit bigger than most backpacks in the ultralight category - making it a good option for long treks or winter hiking when more layers are needed. Those side pockets are particularly hearty-with more than enough space for a Nalgene, while that large mesh front pocket is ideal for stashing a windproof jacket.

If you're wondering about sizing with this pack, Gossamer go off torso length, which is measured from the C7 vertebra at the base of your neck to the iliac crest in the middle of your hips.

16" - 18" - go for Small

18" - 20" - go for Medium 

20" - 22" - go for Large.

If you're between sizes, Gossamer recommend sizing down for more of a shoulder wrap and higher hipbelt, or sizing up for a lower hipbelt fit.
