Built for long distance efforts of variable - and often unforgiving - terrain, the Mafate X is the culmination of all Hoka’s trail running know-how. The style maintains performance in trying conditions, giving control with MetaRocker technology, while propulsion is provided by a springy carbon fibre plate. Built with a foam chassis, the uppers are constructed from dense woven mesh that vents heat and moisture effectively. Speaking of foam, underfoot there’s impact-absorbing foam near the sole, alongside a moulded TPU heel counter and an EVA midsole for supreme comfort. Completed with Vibram's Megagrip traction lugs for the ultimate traction.
