With a name straight out of the realms of sci-fi, Montbell’s Plasma 1000 Alpine Down Parka is a technically advanced hyper-lightweight piece of outerwear. Appealing to the ultralight heads, it uses ballistic strength lightweight nylon ripstop with a 1000-fill-power down for extreme cold. A skip-stitch quilting pattern minimises cold spots and reduces heat loss and gives the jacket its distinctive appearance.
Fill weight is 96g, allowing for good packability with excellent heat retention.
