Taking their name from legendary surfboard shaper Matt Kivlin, Pilgrim’s Kivlin Board Shorts are just how you’d want a pair of board shorts to be, combining classic lines with some particularly useful design details. Perhaps the most obvious detail to talk about is that curved yoke on the front, which along with those subtle darts on the waist help to give them a refined shape. That lightweight Cordura ripstop means they’re reassuringly tough, and that military-esque button on the rear pocket is a nice touch too.
