The Shield Jacket is a serious winter-ready coat courtesy of London's Purple Mountain Observatory. A three-layer ripstop nylon on the outside keeps the weight down and the rain out, while that duck-down insulation ensures plenty of warmth when the temperature drops. The insulated hood adds to the cold-weather functionality, with elasticated storm-cuffs keeping the breeze out.
