It's maybe not much of a surprise that a brand called Snow Peak make some pretty impressive cold-weather clothing. The FR 2L Down Jacket is a hefty slice of outerwear which combines a breathable, water-repellent outer shell with 800-fill down insulation to provide protection from the elements.
And when we say 'the elements', we don't just mean wind and rain-the 'FR' in the name stands for 'Fire Retardant', and thanks to the use of a material called aramid (most famously used in Kevlar), it's flame resistant too. We're not exactly sure why anyone would need that, but at least you needn't worry about ruining your jacket on bonfire night.
