One for the ultra-light acolytes, the Biseul B-Grid Bag from CAYL blends thru-hiking minimalism with fully-fledged functionality. As its moniker suggests, the style is constructed from a proprietary, 70-denier B-Grid ripstop. More than capable of tackling everyday wear-and-tear and the toils of the trail, CAYL have reinforced the back and bottom panels with a 210-denier iteration of the same, meaning you can drop the bags on rocks and rough ground without worry. Its 20L main compartment offers ample space for equipment, while essentials can be organised within the external zipped pocket. Also bolstering carry capacity are two large, wraparound water bottle pockets, which can be used to stash fuel and the like. Finally, it’s equipped with a whistle attachment on the sternum strap so you can be heard if you venture a little too far off-piste.
