MSR designed the Elixir 2 tent to give backpackers a comfortable camping experience. Sized for two people, the 104cm headroom, angled poles, and rectangular floor plan create a spacious sleeping area that can fit wide camping mats. Overhead storage and side pockets keep your gear organised.

The Elixir 2 has a freestanding design and pitches inner tent first. On hot, dry nights, you can use it without the flysheet. The inner is made with a mix of mesh and solid fabric panels to balance breathability and privacy. Doors and storage vestibules on both sides make the tent easy to navigate. The flysheet doors have rain gutters to avoid water dripping onto your kit when you open them. Flysheet kickstand vents increase airflow to help manage condensation and let heat escape on warm evenings.

With MSR's metal corner hardware, you can quickly and securely connect the flysheet, inner tent, pole ends, and corner peg loops. Colour-coded poles and webbing further simplify tent setup. To increase durability, the Elixir 2 comes with a footprint that matches the inner tent's shape. Use it to protect the tent floor from dirt, moisture, and abrasion.
