The MSR Elixir 3 is a spacious three-person backpacking tent that lets you camp in comfort. The shaped poles, 109cm headroom, and rectangular floor plan maximise the internal space, with room for wide camping mats. A freestanding model that pitches inner first, colour-coded elements simplify setup.

Ideal for backpacking and general camping, you can use it as a trio or enjoy the extra space as a pair. Large StayDry doors with rain gutters and storage areas on each side provide easy access and organisation. The inner tent features both solid and mesh fabric panels, which help balance warmth, breathability, and privacy. Overhead gear lofts plus side pockets with cable ports keep your small essentials organised. Kickstand vents on the flysheet improve airflow, allowing heat to escape on warm nights and reducing internal condensation.

The Elixir 3 features MSR's metal corner hardware, which provides a quick and secure connection between the flysheet, inner tent, pole ends, and corner peg loops. Multiple connection points on the flysheet let you reposition the guy lines to adapt to changing wind directions. To increase durability, MSR include a footprint which matches the inner tent floor. Use it to protect the tent base from dirt, moisture, and abrasion.
