The Wind Zip Hoody is Yamatomichi's thoughtful take on a lightweight windbreaker. If you're familiar with the Japanese brand, you'll know that they put a lot of care and attention into everything they do, and this is no exception, rethinking the concept from the ground up. While windbreakers and running jackets are usually designed to be taken on and off depending on temperature, the Wind Zip Hoody is created to be so light and breathable that you can keep it on the whole time.

The key is the use of body-mapped panels, with varying weights of Pertex Quantum fabric used in specific sections, with the lightest panels located in the areas that get the hottest while running (like the back and under the arms), while a coated version of the same fabric is used on the front panel and arms to block out the wind. The relaxed shape leaves room for air to circulate, while the cuffs are specifically designed so they can be rolled up to release heat, or used with the thumbhole to keep your hands warm.
