The UL All Weather Pants are a seriously well-thought-out pair of rain pants from Japan’s Yamatomichi. The brand describe their ‘UL All Weather’ gear as a new type of clothing they call ‘All Weather Activewear’ which rethinks the way we use rainwear. Rather than rely on heavy waterproofs, they propose using featherlight, breathable gear that you can keep moving in. These trousers are a perfect example of what they’re talking about.
Made from a revolutionary nylon nanofiber called Pertex Shield Air, not only are they unbelievably light, but they’re really breathable too, meaning they work particularly well for those travelling at pace. That unique fabric is combined with ultrasonic welded seams to keep the raindrops at bay.
